Download versions have the advantage that you get the product faster and save the shipping costs. Download versions are especially useful if you are in a country that is not a member of the European Union: In that case, you also save the import tax that your country charges on goods from Germany. The download version should be ready within 24 hours after you have placed your order. Normally it takes only a few hours to deliver it, though.
